(Okay, this post wasn't supposed to be blank. Apparently blogging from my phone is not fool proof.)
I quit my part time job today.
I'm equal parts elated and terrified by the changes ahead.
I can't wait to sleep in on a Saturday for the first time in forever.
I have no idea how anyone is getting any Christmas presents this year.
It is the best thing I have done for myself in approximately 4 years.
I am really happy for myself.

ReplyDeleteWe stopped giving Christmas presents two years ago (our daughter is two). We told everyone that the economy is bad and we had decided to celebrate time with family on the holidays. It has been the best holidays ever. No rushing through packed malls shopping for presents for the entire family. We bought presents only for our daughter and made picture books of our daughter for our parents. Anyway, Who said you HAVE to give presents to EVERYONE on Christmas???
